My name is Paul A. Ricchiazzi

I am running for the Bear Valley Community Services District Director. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about myself and how I may serve you and the community in this capacity.

Recently, I served as a police officer for the Bear Valley Police Department, I am a resident of Bear Valley Springs with property ownership on the valley floor and in the higher mountain elevation.  As a father of 5 girls in a blended family and happily married I understand the importance of good communication, financial management, and challenges of maintaining harmony.

THE WHY

After working as a police officer for nearly the past year for the Bear Valley Police Department (BVPD), I have learned what the "cog in the machine" is for our Community Services District (CSD) and have learned there is only one right way to address it. This election cycle is a fortuitous opportunity to elect the right people to represent the CSD in a respectful, cooperative, and efficient manner versus those that present as divisive and self-serving.

Having recently served this community I have been fortunate to meet many of the wonderful residents of Bear Valley Springs and CSD employees that provide all services as a whole.  Some of you I may have only met while enforcing the State and local laws here, and I feel confident based on my professionalism and respect during those encounters that I can ask for your support as a candidate running for the Bear Valley CSD Board of Director.

Working together is what we must do if we are going to make progress!  Working with others in critical moments is what I excel at.  Many people can have brilliant thoughts and intentions, but when it comes time to make a critical decision that is not about saving your own skin, that is difficult for many.  Doing the right thing the right way is hard and that is where I will consistently strive on behalf of Bear Valley Springs as a CSD Director.
